My name is Brenda Stevermer and am very honored to serve at President of the Mankato East Booster Club.

My husband, Rob and I along with our family lived here in 2017. Our son, Bennett is a junior and my daughter, Olivia is a 3rd grader. Our oldest daughter, Peyton just graduated and is attending and playing basketball at Gustavus.

I feel fortunate to be able to be part of the Boosters. The people in this crew are amazing! They are truly the most thoughtful and giving people I could ask to work with. To be able to provide our students with items they need to continue to be successful is a tremendous feeling. Thank you for letting me be part of Cougar activities! GO COUGARS!!

I became involved with the Booster Club in 1998 as the Treasurer. Initially it was to help… after my kids graduated I stayed so that I could stay connected to the school.

We have 3 kids that graduated from Mankato East… Kristin in 2000, Lindsay in 2003 and Daniel in 2005.

We have been blessed with 5 grandchildren.

Hi there! My name is Kim Beaty. I am married to John Beaty and we have two children. Maddy is in 11th grade and Austin is in 9th grade both attending Mankato East High School. I have been a part of the Mankato community since 1989 where I was a student at Mankato State University. I am currently a manager a Red Lobster in Mankato where I recently celebrated 30 years of employment. I joined the booster club in 2022 to make decisions that help enrich our students high school experience…and also to meet people.😉. I am proud to be a member of this fine organization that thinks of ALL of our students that participate in activities which are offered at Mankato East High School. It is a fulfilling club to be a part of knowing we always have the students best interests in mind.

Kathy Sanger works at Rasmussen University, has been in the East Booster Club for 8 years. I have four Cougars that I’m proud to call my own. Jack, Rachel, Nick and Emily. We are a sports family—football, basketball, volleyball, baseball, softball and track. I’m so proud to be a part of the East family and will always be cheering for the black/gold!!

Hello! I am Krista Petzel, married to Kyle and we have two kids, Hailey is in 12th grade and Braden is in 10th grade, both attending Mankato East High School. I grew up in Mankato and love this community!!! I joined the Booster Club in 2000 and am currently the event coordinator for the Booster Club, keeping an eye on activities and offering opportunities to sell Cougar gear or raffle tickets. My absolute favorite part of being on the Booster Club is being able to meet the needs and requests for ALL of the Mankato East activities. This has provided a great opportunity to meet new people and be a part of an awesome Cougar community, not to mention, being able to provide opportunities for our kids to be a part of our awesome Cougar community! Go Cougars!!!

I am Jessica Wendinger, married to Joey. We have 2 kids, Carlie who is a sophomore in volleyball and softball and Peyton who is an 8th grader who plays football, hockey and baseball.

I am part of the booster club because I wanted to know more about East extracurricular activities, learn how and help raise funds for those activities and to ensure kids have a place to make memories doing things they love.

My name is Kris and I joined the Mankato East Booster Club in 2023. I joined to be able to support and encourage student involvement in co-curricular activities. I am married to Lee. We had a son who graduated from Mankato East in 2022 and will have children graduating from East in 2024 and 2027. When not cheering on an East activity, I enjoy reading, walking and traveling. I look forward to maintaining the tradition of excellence in supporting the Mankato East Cougars!

Member - Samantha Kaul

Bio

Samantha is a 2001 East graduate and has been a part of the Booster club now for a couple years and enjoys it very much! She has a son, Brayden who graduated from East in 2021 and now her daughter Brooklyn is a senior at East and will graduate next Spring. She enjoys spending time with her kids and black lab Charlie and selling homes as she’s been a real estate agent for 8 years. Samantha is very active in the local community and and does a lot of volunteering with United Way, Red Cross , Leep, and Hosanna Lutheran church. She loves Mankato East and is happy to be a part of the booster club!
